Burrabungle Park has been systematically managed for conservation since 2011.

The property was covenanted with Trust for Nature in 2012.

  • In 2011 Burrabungle Park was awarded a large 3 year grant by Birds Australia for the conservation of woodland birds. This was one of only two such grants offered by Birds Australia across the state.
  • More than twenty 10 square metre exclosures were erected on the property in 2012-13 for indigenous tubestock planting.
  • Intensive management of rabbits and weeds commenced in 2011-12 and has continued to the present time.
  • The Trust for Nature Management Plan is available for inspection upon application.
